Loss of Power Test to see if you have full power by turning on your electric oven or central air. If they don't work, check with a neighbor to see if they have the same problem. If so, call your power company. If your oven and A/C work, then the problem is in your home, so check all your circuit breakers. You should check every breaker in every panel box. If a breaker is tripped, turn it off and then back on. If this still doesn't restore power, then you should check all of your GFI outlets in the kitchen, garage, laundry room and bathroom. Make sure to push the reset button on each outlet. If these remedies don't restore your power, then you need to give us a call and we will correct it for you. Smoke Detectors should have their battery changed once a year with a fresh 9V alkaline battery. Portable Generators should have a test run monthly for about 10 minutes in a well ventilated area. Your generator needs regular service. Like your car, your generator's oil, spark plugs, and air filters need to be replaced and you should keep Stai-bit in the gas. Please don't wait until you need your generator or it will fail. |
